Banjo Paterson
Banjo Paterson was an Australian author who primarily wrote in English.
Andrew Barton “Banjo” Paterson (1864–1941) was an Australian bush poet and author known for his iconic poems, including “The Man from Snowy River” and “Waltzing Matilda.” His verses celebrated the Australian outback and the bushmen’s way of life. Paterson’s poetry remains an integral part of Australian folklore and culture.
